The Asian Eyelid Surgery procedure develops a "crease" at the upper eyelid margin where there was no crease before.  Asians either have no crease or fold, in which case one can be constructed surgically, or they have a very low fold with thick fatty tissue above the crease under the eyebrow.  The fat is thinned and the crease is adjusted according to the desires of the patient.
